Yoga & Pilates Instructor
Kathi has over 35 years' experience in the fitness and beauty industries, also working in fitness industry education as an instructor trainer.
She has been co-hosting retreats in Greece and Croatia since 2017 and has worked with special populations such as multiple sclerosis, care homes and injury rehab.
Kathi started out as an aerobics instructor and went on to teach most exercise disciplines during her fitness career. After many years of high impact, high intensity exercise, osteoarthritis in the hips began to restrict movement and limit her choice of exercise, so she turned to Pilates and gentler forms of Stretching and Yoga to maintain her flexibility, strength and functionality both prior to and post hip surgery.
Following a successful double hip replacement Kathi regained full range of movement and continued to specialise in Pilates and Yoga, helping people overcome the physical and psychological limitations of arthritis, joint injury and surgery. She is especially passionate about sharing the wonders and benefits of Yoga, which extend far beyond just the physical practice, making it accessible to everyone.
Her mission is helping people to feel good in mind, spirit and body, to optimise their well-being and to gently question limiting self-beliefs which may be holding them back in their quest for well-being.
Kathi’s regular classes and workshops in Berkshire explore how we can best align ourselves with nature’s seasons and rhythms.
She believes that we should nurture our mental, physical and spiritual wellbeing by moving our bodies in ways that feel good, eating fresh food, meditating, connecting with nature in all its glorious forms, fostering nourishing relationships and living with purpose and passion - whatever that looks like for each of us!
