Yoga and Pilates Instructor June
Yoga, Sup Yoga & Pilates Teacher
June believes in honouring everyone’s uniqueness and healing through movements. She favours a functional tailor-made approach, as she noticed that standardised alignment cues don’t work for everybody. Her classes are about what feels right/better to your body in the present moment, rather than what you supposedly should look like to fit the pose.
She also teaches Trauma Informed Yoga classes based on the Trauma Center Trauma-Sensitive Yoga (TCTSY) approach, and applies the principles of this method to make all the classes she offers more accessible and inclusive. The benefits thus also apply to an audience intimidated by the classic approach, where the tendency is to give the same instructions to everyone, with ready-made formulas that often give rise to a feeling of "not being cut out for yoga".
She loves deepening her teaching skills and adding new ones in order to better serve you. And since she’s experienced several injuries and recurring pain in her joints, she’s learned many tips to help her body recover that might benefit you.
She lives in Switzerland where she teaches Pilates (mat & apparatuses), Vinyasa, Yin (combined with Acupressure or Myofascial release techniques), Trauma informed yoga and SUP yoga.
She looks forward to meeting you here and be part of your wellbeing journey, and welcomes any foodie’s tips to enjoy local delicacies/specialties or any kind of food ;-)
